Remarkable View Wines' Cellar Door

Officially opened 26th October 2003 in conjunction with the launch of the Geographic Indications Region "Southern Flinders Ranges".

The cellar door will be open 11:00 am to 4:30 pm on Weekends and Public Holidays

(except Christmas Day and all of January)

other times by appointment.

About the building

Part of the original homestead was demolished and the stone was used to build the new Cellar Door. The kitchen was retained and a large table made from the Baltic pine floorboards of the old home installed. The original foundation stone was incorporated.

The cellar door boasts a large verandah and enclosed pergola with a fantastic view of Mt Remarkable near Melrose.
